This past week I had ATT come to set up Uverse in the house. My husband and I went for the AT&T Uverse TV and Internet deal. We’d heard talk about Att Uverse getting to our city, but those commonly don’t happen. Then around the beginning of the year, We discovered it was the truth.

If you use a satellite you are unable to get local stations in HD and you must have 2 satellites on your place to see all the stations. With cable the service is alright, but is way behind technologically.

So I got Uverse and really like. The DVR menu is wonderfully configured, and is better than anything we have ever used. Att Uverse also is instantaneous, eliminating the delay that we always dealt with when selecting a channel with other companies. The awesomest aspect about our TV is anybody can program my DVR using our computer and even through my mobile phone, and it has 4 inputs for taping so I can tape various HD episodes and multiple regular shows concurrently. The standard digital shows are perfect, and the high def is pretty remarkable too.

I looked for and chanced upon specials for at&t uverse and our family set everything up online, and will receive $160 in rebates. Also U-Verse also forces NO contracts upon sign-up. The company is doing this to promote households to test the service. So my family’s pretty much on a no cost couple month trial.

The only bad part was the multiple week anticipation for the setup, and in addition that the DVR remote they won’t turn my tv on. Those are Minor issues really for a fantastic service.
